Imagination Station

Imagination Station, eastern North Carolina's only Hands-On Science Museum is located in downtown Wilson. Imagination Station is a science and technology center where everyone has the special power to explore science while having fun. Imagination Station offers more than 100 hands-on experimental science exhibits. Live science demonstrations are available daily on topics such as chemistry, sound and electricity. Also available are a number of educational opportunities such as summer educational programs, teacher resource programs, out-reach programs and consulting programs.

The Arts Council of Wilson

Located in the historic downtown district, the Arts Council of Wilson promotes cultural arts in Wilson County. Each year the Arts Council hosts approximately ten exhibitions in the galleries of the Wilson Arts Center and Edna Boykin Cultural Center. The Arts Council also hosts a variety of live professional performances including dance, music, theatre and more. Interactive programs through the Arts Council include workshops, lectures, gallery tours, outreach programs and many other activities for all ages.
